You also once wrote a great article on blackpowder guns for my old mag 'Kriegspieler' once upon a time... Great to see the Victrix mounted officers - did you get them thru Olympian here (OG?)? I got a box of the Victrix French from Dean myself and have just made them up, prior to painting. Bit of a fiddly task with plenty of breakages and much bad language but (mercifully) plenty of spares so I got an entire brigade in a box - 4x14 bttns & a 4 figure cmd (grenadier of course!) They are a pain to make but I'm looking forward to painting 'em as no two poses are exactly alike, so they're the best animated of any around. Used a few Perry 'bits' for arms etc too - they fit in nicely. Just got a few boxes of the new Perry cuirassier too and they look alright next to the Victrix figures. Whole lotta painting to do. Hope you and your expanding tribe are well (#4 on the way eh? Just like me - a sucker for punishment - but don't we love it?) Take care.

BradDoc Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12454394616689797734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2517690696075361865.post-68228123082401396752009-10-28T02:47:05.732-07:002009-10-28T02:47:05.732-07:00Hi JasonB

No postage wasn't to bad to Australia, but I always insist they send using USPS, (not one of the Private Postal services). Also, I bought some other items, so to postage was spead across several items.Trailapehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01056073765543722079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2517690696075361865.post-27320277925302328592009-10-28T02:36:51.795-07:002009-10-28T02:36:51.795-07:00I have been thinking about getting some of the pre...I have been thinking about getting some of the prepaints......did you order them from OG directly and are you a member of the army? Did postage wipe the discount out?
They look really good and the colonels are lovely!JasonBnoreply@blogger.com
